Dr. Ernest Robertson
Dr. Ernest A. Robertson received his B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania where he pledged Alpha Phi Alpha and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry. He then joined his father's general practice where he brought the added dimension of implant dentistry. Dr. Robertson was chief resident at Sydenham NFCC/Harlem Hospital and was an attending dentist in Implant dentistry and lecturer at Long Island College Hospital.
He is a graduate and Fellow of the prestigious Misch Implant Institute, is a Diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantology, a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, and an Associate Fellow of the Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is also the past president of the American College of Oral Implantology. Dr. Robertson was on the Board of Directors of the International Congress of Oral Implantology and he is presently the Vice-Chair of the New York State Dental Board. Dr. Robertson has given numerous lectures on implant dentistry in the United States and Europe. During the course of his career Dr. Robertson has aided many dentist to start in implant dentistry.
In 1990, he was awarded the "Best Case Award" at the American College of Oral Implantology Annual Symposium. Dr. Robertson received his Fellowship from the International College of Dentist in 2014 and is also serving a 10 year term as a member of New York State Board of Dentistry. Dr. Robertson is proud of his of all his contributions but also most proud of his children Alberto Clayton, Andrew, Sydney, Ernest and Taylor.
He has coached his children in Little League baseball. As former runner at Penn Dr. Robertson continues to stay active in the track and field world by officiating at the Penn Relays for over 25 years. He is a member of National Negro Golf Association and enjoys golfing.
Dr. Daniel Narain
Dr. Daniel A. Narain, a native of Atlanta, GA, graduated from Morehouse College with a BS in Chemistry and minor in Mathematics. He then spent three years after college working on the island of Aruba where his mother is from and subsequently moved to Philadelphia, PA where he received a Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. In Brooklyn he completed a General Practice Residency at Lutheran Medical Center and Advance Program Periodontics in at NYU Lutheran. Dr. Narain prides himself on communication and building trust with his patients; he feels that communication is the key to proper healthcare. He is currently in the process in becoming a board certified Periodontist and he has recently passed the written exam. His hobbies include working out in the gym, playing basketball in a local recreation league, traveling and mentoring aspiring dentists.
Dr. Renee Pompei
Dr. Renee Pompei is an ABO Board-Certified Orthodontist who is passionate about helping each patient achieve her or his personal functional and aesthetic goals for a beautiful, confident smile. She became an orthodontist after first spending several years in an professional client services consulting firm. She was inspired to change careers, go back to school for seven years, and pursue dentistry after receiving orthodontic treatment herself as an adult. This experience helped her truly understand the patient's concerns and perspective and place individual patient satisfaction as a top priority in treatment. Dr. Pompei received her dental training at Columbia University's College of Dental Medicine where she graduated with Omicron Kappa Upsilon honors. She went on to specialize in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Tufts University and for the past few years she has been practicing as an orthodontist in New York City.
Dr. Moonyoung Lee
Dr. Moonyoung Lee is an ABO Board-Certified Orthodontist who has spent the past several years working as an orthodontist in private practice in multi-specialty dental practices. When not treating his own patients, he is pursuing his love of academics by training young orthodontists as the Orthodontic Residency Program Director at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, NY. Previously, he served as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Tufts University Orthodontics department. Dr. Lee graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. After dental school, he worked as a general dentist while completing a certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and Master's of Science in Dental Research at Tufts. Dr. Lee follows the latest orthodontic research closely and has multiple publications in peer-reviewed dental and orthodontic journals. He actively participates in continuing education and offers modern orthodontic techniques including Invisalign®, Lingual Braces and accelerated orthodontic treatment.
