Ernest Robertson, DDS
Dr. Ernest A. Robertson received his B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Howard University College of Dentistry. He joined his father's general practice where he brings the added dimension of implant dentistry. Dr. Robertson was chief resident at Sydenham NFCC/Harlem Hospital and is currently an attending dentist in implant dentistry and lecturer at Long Island College Hospital. He is a graduate of the prestigious Misch Implant Institute, is a Diplomate in the International Congress of Oral Implantology, a fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, and an Associate Fellow of the Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is also the past president of the American College of Oral Implantology. Dr. Robertson has given numerous lectures on implant dentistry in the United States and Europe. In 1990, he was awarded the "Best Case Award" at the American College of Oral Implantology Annual Symposium.
Dr. Cecilia N. LaRoche
We are pleased to have Dr. Cecilia N. LaRoche as a part of our dental team. Dr. LaRoche received her B.S. in Chemistry from Bennett College in Greensboro, North Carolina. She attended a dental internship at the University of Missouri, where she fell in love with the field of dentistry. Dr. LaRoche received her doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. Dr. LaRoche completed her residency at Harlem Hospital, Columbia University Center.
Currently Dr. LaRoche has a successful private practice in Queens where she enjoys practicing family dentistry. Her focus is on porcelain crowns, root canal therapy, and aesthetic restorations. She combines dental expertise, a gentle chairside manner, and the lastest technology and materials to make her patients goals a reality.
Aside from being a perfectionist about her work, Dr. LaRoche would like to think of herself as a good communicator. Dr. LaRoche feels patients should be educated about their health care so they can make intelligent decisions. She is committed to excellent patient care and looks forward to serving the Greater Harlem Community.
Dr. Angela Verma
At a young age, Dr. Angela Verma always had an interest in teeth. At the age of 5 dressed up as the tooth fairy, in junior high she was volunteering at her dentist office, and by high school, she was teaching kindergarteners about oral hygiene. To no surprise, after completing high school, Dr. Verma was accepted into a prestigious seven-year accelerated program in biology and dentistry. She graduated cum laude from Farleigh Dickinson University with a bachelor in science and went on to New York University to receive her DDS. After NYU, she furthered her training by attending a one year residency in Staten Island University Hospital. At the completion of her residency, she was honored by becoming an attending dentist at the hospital, helping to train new residents.
Currently, Dr. Verma works at a private practice in New York City and Princeton, New Jersey. She places a strong emphasis on cosmetic dentistry including implant restoration, zoom bleaching, lumineers, and invalign. She also enjoys performing accurate one visit root canal therapy with advanced dental rotary systems and apex locators.
Dr. Verma enjoys attending professional dental conferences to keep up with the latest techniques and advancement dentistry has to offer. Dr. Verma enjoys working with Dr. Robertson and his friendly team to achieve dental excellence and provide the best quality of care in a relaxed, modern setting and allaying patient's fears of dentistry.
Esmeralda Santiago - Business Manager
Esmeralda Santiago, is the Business Manager for Dr. Ernest Robertson. She absolutely loves her job, she is always saying how extremely blessed she feels to work with such a wonderful team. She was born and raised in Yonkers, New York. she has two beautiful daughters, one which had braces done by Dr. Robertson.
She started in dentistry 6 years ago as a temp receptionist, and was offered a job immediately. She quickly grew a passion for dentistry and realized she had found the perfect career for herself. She trained for almost two years with a dental management school and also received a certification with The Scheduling Institute.
She came into dentistry with a background in Customer Service and strongly believes in treating others as she would want to be treated. Esmeralda makes sure her staff delivers the upmost excellent, friendliest and compassionate service possible. She is determined to make your dental experience at Harlem Center of Aesthetic Dentistry feel as if you're coming to visit Family.
Anastasia Dallas - Hygienist
Anastasia Dallas was born and raised in Windsor Canada where she graduated from St. Clair College. She received her diploma in Dental Hygiene in 2001. She has been practicing Dental hygiene for almost 10 years, the majority of that time working in Windsor and Toronto Canada. She then moved to Ohio in 2007, where she completed all her clinical and written examinations to be licensed in the United States. In the summer of 2010 she moved To New York City with her fiancé Nate and her dog Cayman, and currently resides in the Bronx.
She enjoys all aspects of her job from helping patients achieve optimum oral health, but also being able to deal with people on a more personal level, gaining their confidence and their friendship. She feels very lucky to have found an office such as this one, where everyone works as a team. She really thinks very highly of all the dentists here and the quality of the work in which they provide. Everyone who walks through these doors is treated just like family. She looks forward to a long lasting career with Dr. Robertson.
In her spare time Anastasia enjoys reading, exercising (kickboxing, jogging, yoga and bikram yoga), spending time with her fiancée and dog, visiting her family, and enjoying everything that this wonderful city has to offer. Life is short so you must take advantage of every moment.
Bruce Choy - Head Dental Assistant
Bruce Choy is the Head Dental Assistant HCAD. He lives in Yonkers, New York. Bruce was born in Guyana and came to the United States when he was 15 years old. He has a daughter and son which he enjoys spending time with.
His interest in dentistry started in the U.S Navy around June 2000. He graduated from the Naval
School of Health Sciences in October 2000. Since then, his dental assistant skills have grown tremendously. Having received his training in the Navy it gave him an advantage over Assistants who have basic training at a traditional dental school. At the Naval school he learned things such as; first aid, BLS, and other skills used in battle stations. Bruce spent a total of 8 years in the US Navy and toured with two ships, one was the USS Trenton and the USNS Detroit. Bruce was stationed at Norfolk, VA and Colts Neck NJ. His overseas travel was exceptional; he visited Spain, Greece, Istanbul Turkey, and Italy just to name a few. Throughout his enlistment he received many medals such as Navy & Marine Corp Achievement Medal, Navy E Ribbon and Navy Good Conduct. These are three of ten medals/ribbons award to him.
Since joining the office Bruce had expanded his assisting skills in the area of Dental Implants and Orthodontics. Bruce is a great addition to our Dentistry Family and we are lucky to have him.
D'angela Rosello - Patient Coordinator
D'angela Rosello Is the Patient coordinator for Dr. Robertson. She was born and raised in New York City and loves the city just as much as Dr. Robertson. D'Angela is married with two beautiful children.
Even though D'Angela had no experience when hired Dr. Robertson saw the potential she had and her genuine personality landed her the receptionist position. D'Angela has been a vital member of Dr. Robertson staff since 2007, and has excelled in knowledge and growth in the dental field. D'Angela has attended several dental course thru out the years and continues to education herself. She has dedicated herself to serving our patients in giving the best possible care.
Delchie Rosello - Dental Assistant
Delchie Rosello has been with our office for the past 3 years. She first started working with us while in high school, as a non- clinical staff member. With her eagerness and passion to learn, she quickly landed a position as a dental assistant. Delchie now assists with all procedures- from large implant surgeries to minor decay removal. In addition to working in the office, Delchie is currently persuing a college degree in business administration and finance. She is a valuable member to our team with her strong work ethic, enthusiasm, and sense of humor. She also has a way of helping put apprehensive patients at ease.
